A Family Tradition of Farming
Powell Ridge Farms, a family-owned business that has been passed down for four generations, is committed to producing high-quality beef. Ian Powell and Samantha Kelly, two cousins who run the farm, are dedicated to continuing the legacy of their ancestors. With a focus on sustainable farming practices and a deep respect for the land, Powell Ridge Farms raises healthy and happy cattle that result in delicious and nutritious beef.

Our farm is dedicated to promoting sustainable agricultural practices that prioritize the health of our animals and the environment. We understand the importance of maintaining healthy soil, water, and natural areas, so we use the award-winning Best Management Practices (BMP) series. Available to Ontario farmers and rural landowners, it provides the best options for managing these vital aspects of farming.
As a family-owned farm, we care deeply about our land and the environment. We take pride in our participation in the Environmental Farm Plan (EFP) program which helps us identify any environmental weaknesses and strengths of our farm. We work tirelessly to ensure that our farm is running sustainably, using eco-friendly practices and methods whenever possible. Our customers trust us to provide them with the highest quality produce, and it's our mission to do so in an environmentally responsible way.
At Powell Ridge Farms, we take pride in our commitment to sustainable farming practices. We believe that rotational grazing is one of the most beneficial practices we can employ, both for the well-being of our animals and the health of the land. By carefully containing and moving our animals through pasture, we can improve soil, plant, and animal health, all while producing high-quality, nutritious products.
